Was is it worth the wait?
Well YES!
Of course I only had to wait in line for 3 hours since I was joined with my with my good friend James Nicholson.
James accompanied me on my quick trip down to Seattle on Friday and the timing was perfect, since I had a couple of meetings in the morning. I dropped James off at University Village where the Apple store is located around 10am, we were numbers 33 & 34 in line. The line grew and grew from there all day long.
At 2:30 they locked the doors, pulled a big black curtain across the windows and the anticipation increased!
Finally at 4:30 the Apple staff came out of the store and did a loop around the entire crowd of 500 plus, 'High Five'ng' everyone, it brought the level of excitement up and the doors open at 5 sharp.
At 5:15 we were done! iPad2 in hand.
What brand to create such an enthusiastic response!
