Some-times you have to see it to believe it. Back in Jan I had a post showing a clients new shower, not for them, but for the other THEM, the dogs! ....the real story is the super colourful Plaster Fireplace Mantel we just finished and I will get that in the next post.
But I think it's interesting to see something you don't see....
Here it is, a Patriot shower for your, dog(s). Today I saw it in use, for the whole family of 5, 3 Lab's and 2 Chiwawa's. Everyone had just been to the beach for a long walk and where tidy clean when I arrived.
Now that is the good Life, uhHA!
What the next trend in interior decor, Doggy showers! Yes the pooch is getting the pampering these days in custom homes. My client obviously has a passion for her FIVE dogs and the Stars & Stripes too. Big enough for me, yet not for me - it's a dog's Life! This is the mantel / Regency gas fireplace, where we will be installing a Lime Plaster Intonachino Mantel.
It's starting off white, but not for long. Colour is the flavor for this client, colour they will have. Stay tuned...
Buonas Tardes, after a couple of days by the pool LI (Lime Plaster) and AC (American Clay) are enjoying the new surroundings. Since they have Mexican cousins here in this resort. The entire Hotel's exterior and interior is completely finished with stucco. A typical architectural finish down in this hot and humid climate. The tradition here in Mexico is to use cement based stucco's and paint the surface for completed 'look'.
This week bloggers, we are in beautiful Mazatlan for much needed rest and fun in the sun. Even Plaster's need a break from the routine in Vancouver of creating stunning mantles and wall plaster masterpieces. Nothing like some good old vitamin D and vivid Mexican Food and Culture to bring the balance of work/play together in harmony.
09 - Well it is almost over, but not forgotten.
A year filled with variety in clients styles and designs, 09 brought the introduction of American Clay (beautiful walls) to there homes and the custom installation process of Lime Plaster Mantles. More to come in 2010!
